Where to stay near Cisanello Hospital
We're at Via Francesco Pardi 16, a ten-minute walk from Cisanello Hospital. Two simple rooms in a real home, with free parking and arrival times that fit yours rather than the other way round.
Ten minutes on foot, with the car left where it is
Anyone looking after a relative in hospital walks the same route two or three times a day. From us to the hospital is a ten-minute walk: the route is flat and stays inside the neighbourhood, so you can do it in the evening without taking the car out and hunting for a parking space when you come back.
It's why most of our guests choose Dolce Dormire. We are not a hotel in the historic centre: we are a house in Cisanello, and the location is precisely the reason to come here.
If you leave the hospital at nine in the evening
Check-in is from 12:00 and check-out by 10:30, but other times can be arranged. A day in hospital doesn't end when a policy says it should, and a rigid arrival time is the last thing you need: message or call us in advance and we'll sort it out.
Parking is free
There is large free parking a few steps from the house. People accompanying a patient almost always arrive by car and then leave it standing for days: here you pay nothing for it and don't have to move it every morning.
If the stay lasts longer than one night
A hospital stay rarely lasts a single night, and a room designed for one night becomes uncomfortable by the third. Guests can use a washing machine and a terrace; sheets, towels and soap are included and never charged separately.
Nearby there's what you need so you don't have to organise anything: a bar for breakfast one minute away on foot, a shopping centre with a restaurant five minutes away. For longer stays, send us your dates — we agree a price for the period rather than applying the nightly rate.
The rooms and the prices
We have two rooms. The Double Room costs €75 per night and sleeps two; the Small Room costs €60 per night, with a small double bed, and is meant for solo travellers. The bathroom is shared, with a shower, and is cleaned regularly.
We also say what isn't here, so nobody finds out on arrival: the bathroom is not private, there is no air conditioning (there is central heating, and fans in summer) and breakfast is not served on site — the bar is one minute away.

Questions we're asked most
Can we arrive after dinner?
Yes, as long as you tell us beforehand. We agree the time when you book, or even on the day itself, by calling +39 347 259 2234.
How long is the walk, really?
Ten minutes at a normal pace from Via Francesco Pardi 16. By car it's a few minutes, but almost none of our guests use it to get to the hospital.
Can we stay a week or longer?
Yes, and it's common. Send your dates to info@dolcedormirepisa.it: for longer stays we agree a price for the whole period.
